An important bill for campaign finance reform has made its way out of the House and is now being considered in the Senate Finance Committee. 

HB122: Prohibits any person from converting any money contributed to a candidate or a candidate's campaign committee to his personal use or for use by a member of the candidate’s family.

  1. Too much money is being funneled into political campaigns, even at the state level. 
  2. If we allow our candidates to accept large campaign contributions, those funds certainly should be prohibited from being used for personal gain.
