Great news! With your help, some important bills have now passed the House and Senate and are on their way to the Governor's desk!
- HB632: Requires the Board of Education to establish guidelines for and implement a course focused on career investigation. This bill is designed to ensure that students have the ability to further explore interests in careers and technical education opportunities in middle and high school.
- HB544: Permits each local school board to establish Work Partnerships with local businesses to create opportunities for students to participate in apprenticeship, internship, or job shadow programs.
Voicing support for good bills and opposing bad ones puts pressure on our lawmakers to make the right decision. Thank you for your continued engagement this session!
